The Medicare Advantage Disenrollment Period (MADP) is the period of time from January 1 through February 14 each year when you can switch from a Medicare Advantage Plan to Original Medicare. You can pick up a stand-alone prescription drug plan regardless of whether or not your MA plan had drug coverage. You cannot make any changes during this period if you have Original Medicare.
