Creditable Coverage

Creditable coverage is: Any health insurance coverage you had within 63 days of securing a new insurance policy that can be used to shorten the waiting period for pre-existing conditions. Prescription drug coverage that is considered to be as good as or better than the Medicare prescription drug benefit (Part D) in monetary value.
